Darul Uloom Darul Yatama – Drasa, Lautoka had the distinct honour of hosting the first-ever Fiji Muslim Youth Movement (FMYM) National Inter-Branch Islamic Competition (IBIC) at its Vocational Centre, marking a historic milestone for the institution and the broader Muslim community in Fiji.
The event brought together a diverse gathering of Muslim youth and elders from across the nation, uniting under a shared commitment to Islamic knowledge, brotherhood, and spiritual growth. Participants showcased their talents in a range of Islamic disciplines, reflecting their deep dedication to the deen and their enthusiasm for learning.
In addition to the vibrant competition, the day was filled with a spirit of unity and mutual respect, serving as a reminder of the importance of youth engagement in preserving and promoting Islamic values. The IBIC provided a vital platform for young Muslims to express their faith, build connections, and be inspired to continue their journey in the service of Islam and the Ummah.
